Wasabi's infectious blend of ass kickin' Rock 'n' Roll, Psychedelic Blues, and irresistible Dance beats, coupled with incredibly strong song writing and powerful harmonies, are the perfect cure for today's ailing music scene. Not only do they deliver soul moving lyrics, but their music demands attention as well. Their musical influences include the rock and blues sounds of Led Zeppelin, The Black Crowes, Pearl Jam and Traffic, interwoven with a wholly original dance sensibility, and a touch of improvisational spirit to top it all off. Wasabi has quickly become THE Rock and Roll band to see in Colorado.

Born from the insatiable desire to create beautiful music, Wasabi has been playing together since early 2003. Their incredible music quickly nabbed a strong fan base which grows larger every show they play. After witnessing one Wasabi show, the audience keeps coming back to hear their favorites, as well as the staggering amount of new material the band manages to create.

Blind from birth, keyboardist Brian Collins possesses an unnaturally powerful voice. Lead guitarist Sean Waters, rhythm guitarist Ehren Crumpler, and bass guitarist Eric Skjerseth all sing lead vocals as well, and together the four of them create awe-inspiring harmonies. Drummer Marshall Van Stone relentlessly drives the band and music forward with powerfully unique drumming, while Saxophonist Tom Gray adds a key element of melodic beauty. Throughout a show, Wasabi will segue through multiple genres that pique the audience's interest: loud guitar-driven rock and blues, soulful piano compositions, booty-shaking dance anthems, and a tasteful selection of classic and modern covers. One thing is a constant at every Wasabi show: The energy never falters and the music never stops until the house lights come on.

In early 2004 Wasabi released their first album Greetings to critical acclaim. They've been hard at work in the studio on their sophomore release, which is due out by the end of 2006 or early 2007. It promises to be a rock 'n' roll powerhouse, comprised of songs that have been road tested and polished in their many live performances.

Wasabi has had the great blessing to share the stage with: Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons, The Rebirth Brass Band, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Ekoostik Hookah, Fareed Haque Group, The Slip, Zilla, Global Funk, Smokestack, Phix, RAQ, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Holy Moses and the High Rollers, Starrunner, 3 Peas, Sweet Nectar, and Green Lemon. They've recently played festivals in Colorado that included, among other bands: WAR, The Motet, Kyle Hollingsworth, Rose Hill Drive, Doug Kershaw, Bob Haworth, Mel Tillis, and Nashville legend Jack Green.

Wasabi is available to play clubs, bars, and festivals across the country.
